The Odyssey: 2012, a prequel to indie developer Joshua Cuppett’s The Odyssey: Trail of Tears, begins with a young couple’s camping trip in the Sierra Nevada mountains.

Problem: it’s the year 2012, and the trip takes place on the final day of the Mayan calendar, a date that some predict will bring a great cataclysm. What could possibly go wrong?
